CHINA
23rd November 2020-present until July 2022. Peiwen school of Peking University, Longshan 8th Road, Daya Bay District, Huizhou City,
I teach grade 2 to grade 6 here. I have 26 classes a week whereby I teach general English and following the Good English Book stories. My teaching style here is centered around classroom engagement.
18th March 2018 – 3rd January 2020. Guangdong Experimental Nanhai School.\
I taught grade 7 and 8 of the middle school and grade 10, 11 and 12 of the high school. 24 classes a week. I primarily prepared students for Cambridge Ket and Pet exams along with general English conversational lessons. I also taught drama while I played Trumpet with the school orchestra at the Macau Open Activities and end of year school concert.
12th December 2017 to 15th July 2018Qian Zong School Shenzhen China – I taught grade 7, 8 and 9 of the middle school and grade 6 and 5 of the primary school. 25 classes a week. I followed the Chinese English Curriculum in all the classes. Directed Little Red Riding Hood Show for grade 6.
ITALY

Benedict School Naples, British Centre Naples and Language Services in Ravenna.
I taught English Conversational classes in the public schools (primary, middle and high schools). 25 to 30 classes a week. I followed PON Programs in Naples and Ravenna preparing students for Cambridge and Trinity exams respectively with a 100% pass rate in Trinity exams. Directed some shows in schools including many end of year shows and concerts.

1st July 2019 to 26th July 2019 International House, University College, Cork City–Summer School, I taught General English to mixed Italian, French, German, Spanish and Chinese students at pre-intermediate to advanced level, Sports activities leader and going on excursions.
18th July – 28th July 2017 Target English Bath England – Prepared students for Trinity GESE speaking exams grade 1 to grade 8. 100% pass rate. Taught mixed foreign students from Italy, Spain and China and Hong Kong.
25th June – 16th July 2017 New Beetle Montocopolio Italy – English Conversational Classes plus oral examiner along with sports and drama. Had many students perform in the talent shows and end of week displays
1st July – 30th July 2015 Trinity.uk Leicester UK– Prepared students from Italy, Spain and Japan for Trinity GESE exams and Film making.
10th July to 19th August in summers 2011,2012,2013 and 2014. Our World Schools Dulwich College London. 15 hours of teaching a week teaching levels pre-intermediate to advanced level .to students from China, Italy, Spain, France, Hong Kong, Portugal, Poland, Turkey and Japan. 7.5 hours a week of English in Action Classes specialise in Journalism, Music and Drama. Wake Up Duty in the mornings and was a leader on excursions.
12th June – 3rd July 2011 – Lingua Senza Frontiere– 3 weeks. 1 week of training at Blue Beach San Remo Italy then 2 weeks at a summer camp school in Riccione Italy. English Conversational Classes, Art, Music and show displays at the end of each week.
25th July – 23rd August 2010 – Nottingham University of Trent. 20 hours of teaching Taught pre intermediate to advance level English to students from Italy. Activity Leader in the afternoons and went on excursions as camp leader at the weekends.
4th July – 3rd August 2009 – Regent St Mary College Twickingham London. 20 hours of teaching a week. Taught students from pre-intermediate to advance level to students from Italy, China, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Turkey and Spain. Activity leader for sports and excursions.

Interests
Music and Drama – play many brass and woodwind instruments while I took part in many musicals including West Side Story, Anything Goes and Musical night. I also played Euphonium and Saxophone and Tuba for the Ballincollig, Midleton, Barrack Street and Mayfield Concert Bands. Played the Tuba and Saxophone for many school musicals at St AlsCarrigtwoill Co Cork 1990 to 2006.
