    “吃烧鹅·进莞来”暨东莞餐饮八八节在西平·新地中心广场举办,现场发布烧鹅品鉴指南和东莞烧鹅地图,并举办“炫烧鹅腿”大赛、潮流美食生活节、潮流东莞“火柴盒”音乐会等活动。

    The 2024 Trendy Nancheng · Summer Carnival—Trendy Food Culture Festival is happening from August 8th to August 11th, 17:00 to 22:00 at Center Landmark! Prepare yourself for a four-day foodie adventure with over 40 food stalls waiting to tantalize your taste buds.

    东莞推出“吃烧鹅·进莞来”活动,盛情邀请全国游客来东莞共赴烧鹅文化之旅。活动现场,东莞发布了《东莞烧鹅品鉴指南》和《东莞烧鹅地图》,不仅为美食爱好者提供了寻味东莞烧鹅的路线图,而且让东莞烧鹅这一地方特色美食,成为城市文化的一张亮丽名片。

    But the real highlight? The "Roasted Goose Leg Eating Contest." This intense competition features about 50 participants of all ages, determined by a random draw. The stakes are high—whoever takes first place wins free roasted goose legs for an entire year! Now, that's a prize worth fighting for.

    你们猜猜本次大赛第一名的选手花了多长时间吃完一整个大烧鹅腿?答案是54秒,不到1分钟时间!真的太惊人了!随着选手的胜出,现场的气氛达到了顶峰。

    Can you guess how long it took the winner to devour an entire roasted goose leg? Just 54 seconds! Less than one minute, and the crowd went wild, with the atmosphere reaching its peak.

    英国大片演员迷上东莞烧鹅

    在嘉年华现场,记者还遇到了两位外国友人,他们受邀参与了此次美食节活动。来自英国的Mike是一名演员,曾出演多部大型电影,虽然在中国已经生活了10年有余,但他几乎都待在北方城市。这是他第一次来到东莞,这里的氛围深深地感染着他,“氛围很好,人们也很友善,一直有人与我打招呼,询问我美食好不好吃,这种感觉真的很棒。”

    Two foreign friends were invited to this carnival. Mike from England is an actor. He has been living in China for more than 10 years and he mostly stayed in the northern cities. He shared that it was his first time in Dongguan, and he was blown away by the lively vibe. "The atmosphere is great, the people are friendly, and everyone keeps asking me how I like the food. It's such a fantastic experience," he said.

    埃塞俄比亚百万博主初尝烧鹅腿贝果

    来自埃塞俄比亚的马尔,是一位在深圳从事自媒体的知名博主,在抖音拥有168万+粉丝。此次专程过来体验东莞的美食节。令他印象最深刻的还是“烧鹅腿贝果”,在他眼里这是东西方美食融合的创意之作,看起来完全不搭的两样食物,放在一起却碰撞出了不一样的火花,他说,“亲自尝试以后,我彻底爱上了这种美食组合。” 同时他表示很喜欢东莞的生活节奏,非常舒服、有人情味。

    Mar, from Ethiopia, a social media blogger based in Shenzhen, made a special trip to experience the carnival. What impressed him the most was the "Roasted Goose Leg Bagel." To him, it was an unexpected yet brilliant fusion of Eastern and Western flavors—two seemingly mismatched foods that, when combined, created something truly special. "After trying it, I completely fell in love with this combo," he said. Mar also expressed his love for Dongguan's relaxed pace of life, finding it much warmer and more welcoming compared to the fast-paced hustle of Shenzhen.
