Our school, La Petite Fourmi, named by French Noble prize winner, J.M.G Le Clézio, introduces an international curriculum of three languages: Chinese, English and French. Within our unique curriculum for the children, we place a strong
emphasis on self-expression and communication, self-management and autonomy, experimental exploration and individualised learning. We strive in every way to create an inspiring and enriching atmosphere both for our students and teaching staff.
City Introduction
Wuhan is a large, international city and a major hub for transport, culture and education. The city contains many famous lakes and parks, as well as many fantastic recreational facilities including international districts with a large variety of restaurants, shops with foreign brands, cinemas and nightlife entertainment.
Wuhan has preserved much of its history and has maintained many of its original buildings and structures which are located throughout the city and provide an insight into life in Wuhan over its thousands of years history.
We are looking forward to recruiting enthusiastic, positive and hard-working English teachers to join us. We will work together to help children’s understanding and interest of the English language as well as give them an exciting and adventurous insight into a different cultural environment.

Contract period:
Number of English teaching positions available: 3
Flexible start date: Any date from November 1st, 2021 to February 7th, 2022
End dates to choose: February 15th, 2023 OR July 30th, 2023
We can renew the contract according to each candidate’s situation.
Working time: Working five days per week，lesson hours are no more than 22 hours per week.
Requirements:

●NATIVE English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, as well as South Africa.
●Master’s Degree preferred OR Bachelor’s degree + 1 - 2 years’ experience in teaching
●Reliable Personality and Devotion to teaching: responsible, enthusiastic and patient.
●Must be able to obtain a cleared police background check
CELTA or DELTA preferred

After Tax Salary : 25, 000 - 30, 000 RMB per month with housing allowance included (The school will provide support in finding an apartment if you wish to live close to the school)
*Information: local average monthly rent is about 2000 - 2500RMB and the local monthly living cost is about 3000RMB monthly*
Start-up subsidy for accommodation in Wuhan: 3000 RMB;
Flight Reimbursement – Up to 10000 RMB for return ticket to home country;
Visa, Work Permit, Residence Permit and medical check-up fees assistance and reimbursement.
Insurance – Health and accident insurance provided;
Delicious and healthy lunch and afternoon snack offered on weekdays at the school;
Arrival Support – Airport pick-up;
Paid Leave – All National holiday（s 11 days) + 2 weeks summer vacation（14 days)+ 2 weeks winter vacation (14 days) + 1 week Christmas vacation (7 days)
Training – Orientation & pre-job training, on-going academic training, support and appraisals.
Job position and responsibilities:

Follow and comply with the course program, teaching standards and safety regulations of the school.
Promote children's interests and abilities in the English language and other world cultures.
Create and follow a complete teaching plan based on the school program and the students' specific needs.
Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to
vocalise their concerns and questions; Organize learning materials and resources; Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc. to motivate and stimulate children's abilities.
Communicate and cooperate with other team members as well as with parents about students' progress and behaviour.
Assess students' performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills regularly.
Write termly evaluation reports of all the children.
Take part in the schools' professional training program.
Attend and contribute to school events.
