OVERVIEW

BE Education is a professional education company based in China that provides international education services. Our students are usually aged between 9 and 16 years old and follow either the UK, US or an international curriculum. The end goal for the majority of our students is to study abroad in the UK/US, with our tuition department increasing students’ academic performance in their current international schools or helping them prepare for entrance exams to overseas schools. We support our students' development by offering one-to- one and small group class tuition in English and other subject-specific preparation for entrance examinations.  We are looking for tutors who have strong academic background and are familiar with UK/US/International curriculum, and those who are passionate about their chosen specialism and want to convey that to their students. Tutors are responsible for providing the highest level of face-to-face/online tutoring service to student age between 8 to 17 years old.  We offer 11+13+ common entrance tutoring as well as subjects of KS3, GCSE, A-level, IB, Pre-U and AP educational system. We also help with Oxbridge interview preparation. Arts tutors specialize in teaching English literature or ESL and other humanities subjects. Our science and maths tutors specialize in teaching one of the core science subjects and/or maths. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

− Prepare individualized lesson plans and contents upon students’ abilities and intended

outcomes. 

− Deliver subject-specific lessons across a range of qualification types and levels, in day or

evening classes. 

− Monitor, assess students learning progress.

− Answer student questions and mark their work that are related to the lesson contents.

− Prepare written study plan, reports and submit them in a timely manner.

− Represent the company with the highest level of professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS

− Native English speakers from major English-speaking countries preferred.

− Bachelor’s degree or above.

− At least 1 year’s regular tutoring experience in the specific subject.

− Sufficient knowledge of UK/US education system and curriculum (Key Stages,

GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level, IB and AP) a major plus.
